My daughter (4 weeks old) has acid reflux. Changed formula 3 times, she has been on Zantac and is now on Prevacid. Symptoms still persist and her coughing and sneezing has become worse. She cries out in pain after she eats, arches her back and at times gags. Just a little spit up but not with every feeding. She gets the hiccups multiple times a day and I just hate to see her in so much pain. I worry about her constantly. We have taken all the measures, including buying those expensive Dr. Brown bottles and making sure she sits upright for atleast 30 mins. after every feeding. Please Help! Where do I go from here?

I have had acid reflux for the past couple years just about everyday of the week. I’ve taken Prilosec, Nexium, Tums, Zantac, Pepcid, ect…..and most have worked for temporary relief but doesn’t help in the long run. I asked my doctor about it a while back ago and all he said was to watch the things I eat. I can go all day with not eating..or just eating a salad and water and STILL get it really bad.

I’ve been doing research on Papaya Enzymes but I’m not quite sure if it would work. Any suggestions??????

doctors diagnosed me with acid reflux and i have tried prevacid, and aciphex. I take malox, gaviscon, honey,aloe vera juice,acv, for extra relief.You name it i have tried it. I get the burning sensation in my throat chest stomach,iget nauseas and i cough a lot (feel like lump in throat) I told the doctor for 2 yrs now its on and off. For months it’ll never bother me and then for months it wont go away at all no matter what i eat or drink. I am very active dont eat spicy foods or nething, i dont even no how i got this, but like i said i can eat bk mcdonalds wendys for weeks and it wont bother meonce then all the sudden itll just hit me and never go away no matter what i eat. Please help with some ideas i am all messed up nothing works
