Over the past few months I have had occasional bouts of acid reflux which have been quite severe and lasting for hours starting late at night and keeping me up all night. Does anyone else suffer from this? Have you cut out certain foods from your diet to be rid it? If so which foods?
I have acid reflux, but it’s mild.. still it bothers me.. if I wanna have the surgery can I have it even though my condition is not severe? Is it expensive?
As the title says I think i might have acid reflux for the past year + or so my throat has been burning (sometimes uncontrollably) at various times during the day (mostly at night). Is this a symptom of acid reflux? If so how should I go on treating it. When my throat has been burning I just try to drink some water but that is only limited relief, is it a good idea that i even drink water during the pain?
Its doesn’t feel so much that I am puking up acid it just seems to come up no gag or anything if that is what you mean. But yes it burns like vomit but it just sits there.
I think it was the summer of last year, and I was drinking so much soda. Like 1-2 bottles a day for almost 2-3 months or longer. And a few months later, I started feeling like I wanted to throw up after I ate, especially at night. It went away after I stopped drinking soda, but about a year later, it’s back. Do I have acid reflux? Thanks, 10 points to the best answer.
I’m only 13.
Actually, I just turned 14.

You have to take several factors into account when you treat your acid reflux disorder. It will depend on your particular body chemistry, if you are suffering from any other medical problems as well as your diet and other lifestyle choices. Discovering the most effective acid reflux treatment for you doesn’t always happen immediately. Not all treatments work for every person, and your doctor will have to help you discover what’s right for you. Thankfully, most treatments for this particular disorder are easy to do and do not cost a lot of money (if any at all). Here are some of the acid reflux treatments that your doctor might recommend for you.
One of the most common type of acid reflux treatments are medicines. There are, however, often side effects that accompany these medications. That’s why it’s a good idea to use medication only as a last resort. For many people, a few adjustments in the way they eat and exercise, along with over the counter medications for symptoms is all they need. For the most part, acid reflux medication is mild and is meant to either help coat your stomach or neutralize some of the acid that is produced. Some medications, however, can produce various side effects in certain people. Try to wait before getting a prescription. Your doctor can help you find other possible treatments.

Problems in the digestive system should not be neglected. There are different possible digestive system disorders or diseases that are most often neglected by many people. The most common digestive problem is the acid reflux or gastro-esophageal reflux disease, mostly known as heartburn. Acid reflux affects different ages from infants to young children and adults as well. This disorder should be given special attention because it can lead to a more serious problem that could affect the respiratory system.
Acid reflux is determined through the symptoms associated with it. Symptoms such as a burning sensation in the chest or throat, wheezing, hoarseness or other symptoms associated to it should never be neglected because these symptoms of acid reflux also are similar to heart attack.
